in the heat of the problem solving

we are in the heat of brainstorming and solving problems we have just made surveys that ask the students to rate the social gap in different areas of the school. i think it is going  to be hard to get them out but we can do it after we get them back we will have to collect all that data and make a conclusion on ideas. we already have the idea of buddy system pen pals seminar activities and selling food at lunch i think we are going to go forward with the seminar activities it seems like the most reasonable and interactive

the beginning of our groups

we just wrapped up a little practice section where we would have fake problems to fix. now we have to put it into action and solve a major problem in our school. the group i choose was the gap between special education and general education i choose this because i myself knew that i was weak in the area and knew being in this group would help me and all the others like me create a better environment for all the students in our school. we have not done much other than just the basics of problem statement  code of cooperation and a couple survey ideas we need to get going time is ticking

Pdsa intro

we were just introduced to the pdsa model of problem solving it set in very well to me because it was introduced in the example of  monsanto seasonal workers. This was a very relevant topic and i was able to relate and make connections to this new program because of my knowledge on the problem they happened to be fixing. I think this gave me even a better understanding of the problem solving technique rather than the example of kitten sales in a county pound i would not of been able to connect as well. so over all im am very excited to start using this new problem solving model

week 9 law of choice

this week tim jones came in to talk to us i thought it was really good. there were two big things i still remember the first one is that we can alter our day so quickly by our choices we make we can choose so many things it amazed me when tim said he had made like 600 decisions from 6 to 1 thats only the first half of the day. the other big point he made was the story of the CEO and the butter patty. something as simple as a 10 cent butter patty blew it for this guy he had a six digit salary coming and he let a 10 cent butter pattie get in the way. that to me shows how important every decision is

get it in gear (speech)

the problem- The older generations are looking down on us as a lazy generation
statistics average teen spends 7.5 hours a day on social media
youtube has reached over 2 billion views a day
we are wasting our time doing pointless things and not getting anywhere in life we need to get in in gear.
i was hiried for a job just last weekend and she was just so amazed that two highschool guys would give up a whole saterday to actually work i dont think that should be anything out of the ordinary. ways to pix this problem well always be ready for a task. this will help you in more ways than one i also think it gives you a purpose in life other completing the next level in a game. get involved in your school colledges dont want to know that you ranked in halo or can play video games for 8 hours straight thay want to know what your involved with what you do for the community. so yeah kick it in gear

core values

honesty and hard work are my core values with those two in conjuntion i think anyone can get a long ways. i think that that the hard work mentality creates every situation into a challenge. it helps because you have a rive to do the task and do it well. and honesty kicks in when the job is done you are humble and honest you dont try to get more than you deserve with those two ingredients i think you'll have a whole bowl of success

be a follow

i think the first follower is almost more important than the first leader because jut one guy dancing on the hill was easy to ridicule it was not hard to avoid because  it was just one crazy dude. but after that second guy comes in to dance with him he creates kinda a start to strength in numbers it gets others to think maybe it would be fun maybe i should join until eventually you have a huge crowd dancing and no one thinks anything of it. Heck they probally wont even remember who the first follower was.

john Daufelt

i liked what john brought to the table. it was very informative to me . it made me think of the ways i o really know things. i thought  even though it was a touchy subject it was good to bring up the burning kuran topic. it shows how a leader has to have a mission but cant go stepping on others toes o accomplish his or her mission. i think that a good leader should discern more than just what his followers will want but what everyone will think

law of process

well this week seemed to go so fast it left me a few short conclusions the first was leadership doesnt come in a day or even a month it is devoloped daily or as john maxwell says its managed daily its and idea that you have that is continued daily and i like that its a goal to work for. the second thing i liked is that our guest speaker hit a rough subject it was very emotional to the class and i saw from that is to be aa leader you have to be tolerant to everyone not just the selected group your leading like the pastor was probaly a leader to his congregation but if u asked any muslim they would not classify him as a leader so its important i think to have a wide population

80th birthday request

on my 80th birthday i would like people to say these three things about my life: that i always was a hand when help was needed that i never was a ear that could not listen and that i always was a heart that loved his family  want them to say this man was always there he would put others in front of his desires even if it ment him not accomplishing what he wanted i want them to say that i was never too busy to sit and talk to someone if they needed too because who knows when your last conversation will be. i learned that after the past two deaths in our high school life is but a vapor so take every chance you can get to reach out and even if it is just a 5 minute conversation take it thats what i came away from this week is dont over look the little things cuz one day they will add up to a lot
